A great way to record precious memories and capture the best of December is to create a December Daily scrapbook.
You can set up album pages with background paper in November and create a tentative list of some of the holiday activities and decorations you want to capture ahead of time. You can also get number stickers or cut out numbers for each day of the month and adhere titles to the pages in advance.
During December, just photograph the items listed as well as important and impromptu moments with family and friends.
Print the photos and attach them to the background pages during December, as well — if you have time — or wait til things slow down in January to do it.
And, with minimal effort, you’ll have a unique holiday album that you and your family will treasure for years to come.
I’ve completed a December Daily album the past six years with different items in each book and still haven’t captured all the things that symbolize the holidays to me. The albums are so much fun to browse through that I started leaving them on the coffee table in the living room so when family and friends visit during December we can reminisce about good times from previous years.
Consider the list below of photo ideas for your December Daily scrapbook.
And see photos below that from some of my albums — including pages about the year the tree kept tipping over and the time my smoke alarms went off and fire trucks came to the house. : )
