  • Walmart is abandoning the one-day-only “Black Friday” sales and will offer its best deals over a five-day period beginning the last week of November this year?
  • Target offers free shipping on all items ordered using the Target credit card? (You also get a 5 percent discount on every purchase made using the card.)

      Hi Sheila-

      I hate to admit it, but lots of times I end up buying more Christmas presents for myself on Black Friday than for my family and friends! (But that’s OK since my parents and sister aren’t big shoppers like I am. They give me the bargains for Christmas, and, although it’s not a surprise – it’s a great price and exactly what I wanted!)

      Belk always has great deals, and sometimes I find things at Sears, too.
