If I had to pick a favorite month, it would be October.
The days finally get cooler here in South Carolina after the long, hot summer and the comfortable weather is invigorating.
The heat and humidity that sapped your energy during the summer and made you scramble from one air conditioned building to another slowly disappears. And it seems like you regain enthusiasm for just about everything outdoors.
