Have you ever felt like sitting down to talk with a friend and nobody is available? Pretty unsatisfying, huh?
Reading a “lifestyle” blog can be like indulging in a good conversation. It connects you with another human being who has the same types of joys and problems as you do. Reading a funny post, getting a helpful tip or gaining insight from someone’s blog makes your day a little brighter. And you can express your thoughts in return by writing a comment.
Sharing my stories about how to save money, travel adventures, fitness fun and life hacks — and connecting with other people — is why I started a personal blog.
I’m into blogging big-time, since I manage an internal communications blog at a world-wide organization all day, and then do personal blogging (and read other people’s blog posts!) in my free time. My coworkers used to call me the “Blog Queen” — which is how I got my “blogqueendiane” screen name.
To contact me, email blogqueendiane@comcast.net, or find me on Twitter, Facebook or Google +, and pin with me at Pinterest1 and Pinterest2!
