Doesn’t Everyone Name Their Car?

Picture of gold carI always name my cars; doesn’t everyone? After all, you spend a lot of time together.

When I was a kid, my parents referred to the family cars by color. For example, they’d say, “We’re taking the “white car” today (versus taking the “blue car”).”

How unimaginative!

I’ve given every one of my cars an exciting name to inject some fun and excitement into the driving/riding experience!

There was the “Yellowmobile”, the “Graymobile” and “Goldie.”

Guess what colors they were?

Hmmmmm. Upon further reflection, maybe the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree…

Yes, of course they do. My first car was Oswald (the reg was OSW), my last car was Fofi (a ford fiesta) and my current car is Gloria (the sat nav voice is very posh)

All of our cars have their names and not just our cars but also my bikes haha. I am not also sure why but for me its something that’s part of my daily life and thinks of it as a family member :).
