If You Have Arthritic Fingers, You CAN Wear a Ring Again

If You Have Arthritic Fingers, You CAN Wear a Ring Again

I’ve had arthritic fingers since my 40s and haven’t worn a ring for years. In fact, the last ring I wore had to be surgically cut from my fingers because it wouldn’t go over the knobby knuckle!

The other day I looked at my hands and thought sadly, “Guess I’ll never wear a ring again the rest of my life…”

But… later that day, I walked into Kohl’s (one of my favorite department stores) and was browsing in the jewelry department. Amid the earrings and necklaces was a ring that wraps around the finger like a cuff bracelet.

Since it was adjustable, it was the perfect thing to slide around the bottom of my arthritic fingers!

I found a second ring, bought them both, and am blinging my fingers again.

(In the interest of full disclosure, NO ring would fit on the base of my super-swollen right hand ring finger — and it’s a piece of my anatomy I don’t want to draw attention to — but the wrap rings fit on my middle fingers and my pinkies just fine. And that works.)
