After many years of searching for the elusive “perfect pair of jeans,” I’ve finally found them.
Had seen ads for “Not Your Daughter’s Jeans” in various women’s magazines over the years, but had never seen them in a local store or known anyone who owned a pair.
Then, by magic, I was at my favorite thrift store one day and not one, but THREE, pairs in my size were available.
Tried them on, bought them all, and that’s the end of the story. No jeans had ever made my bottom half look – and feel – this good! They contain lycra to reduce that horrible “rear-end bagging” I have a problem with, they have a lightly firming stomach panel, and they’re stylish and youthful looking, without having a waistline that starts six inches below the belly button. They come in a variety of colors and styles, and while some pairs are plain, others have tasteful embellishments on the back pockets.
And the best thing: the price was definitely right.
I’m very thrifty – but really love good clothing, and after looking them up online when I got home and finding out the jeans normally cost between $95-$110 a pair, I would even be willing to buy them new!
Try a pair and let me know what you think. Aren’t they great?
